Week 8: More Prizes Than I Know What To Do With

Another league in the books, and Poop & Pee Warriors finally managed to close one out.  There was no catching them this week, and as such, no one did.   Team 6 got close, finishing just three points short.  Tits & Giggles finished with a team-best third place.  If I could give extra points for bringing delicious baked goods, I would, because they were delicious.  At the end of the night, we had our normal prize-giving extravaganza, courtesy of our host Red Dot and our benevolent sponsor Schlitz. Quarter-barrels, neon lights, bar stools, tin signs, cardboard cutouts of 1960′s pinups, nothing went ungiven.  Teams got closer and closer as the prize giving went on until the last few prizes went out in a frenzy that would make a piranha blush.  Band of Birthday Bitches left before collecting their prizes which only left more meat on the bone for other teams.  All in all, a good night.

The biggest thanks go to all of you who come out every night and play.  You’re a great crowd, and we hope you’re having as much fun playing as we are stumping you.

We’re back next week, but without the pressure of league play. Just one week off, though, and July 9th we’ll be back to start another eight-week league.
